Petrus Old Brown Ale Aged in oak casks for 2 years

POours light brown with ruby colors in light.  Off-White 1/4″ inch tall head.
Smells of dark fruits and brett or pedio – a slight leather aroma.
Slight malt flavor, carbonation bite.. or other harsh bitterness. Kinda nasty.
Prickily bitterness dry, quick finish.
So So- in the drinkability

Bavik

Bavik 11.2 oz can 5.2%
Bavik is a Belgian Pils – I assumed this is their cruddy beer. – but..it was very delicious. Like an un-skunked “green bottle” beer like Becks/Heinie/Pils. Urquell.
Appearance: poured light gold – with a 1″ head that dissipated slowly. Little bubbles rose up from the bottom of the glass.
Aroma: Corn? a [...]

I haven’t been homebrewing.  It sucks.  But.. the true Ionia Ales system is coming together. – 2 kegs. I know someone with a TIG system and a plasma cutter.  So… a system is in the works…  there might just be a pump so I don’t have to lift 100lbs of boiling water.
